Just in Time for Small Business Saturday, the Invest PGH Holiday Shopping Guide is Here!
The holiday season (depending on how you measure it) is officially here, and that means it’s time for twinkling lights, warm drinks… and gift lists a mile long. Make it mean something more: an opportunity to support the entrepreneurs who keep Pittsburgh unique, creative, and thriving.
Invest PGH’s 2025 Holiday Shopping Guide is live! This year, we’re featuring dozens of locally owned businesses across retail, food, and services. These are the real ones: our borrowers whose growth has been fueled through IPGH lending programs, offering gifts with meaning, flavor, and community impact included in the box. We’re launching it ahead of Small Business Saturday so you have some time to peruse.
Why Shop Local?
Shopping small has become very trendy recently. We’re not mad; it’s a direct investment in neighbors, communities, and local jobs. Every dollar spent at local businesses creates a ripple that impacts the regional economy, supporting everything from storefront revitalization to stable employment. There are worse things that could (and do) trend.
This year’s guide highlights an incredible mix of Pittsburgh’s makers, bakers, growers, and creators. Whether it’s a hand-poured candle or a bowl of soup that tastes like home, these gifts tell a story, and keep holiday dollars close to home.
