Financing for startups, pre-businesses, and small businesses that need capital to launch or grow a business. This program provides loans of up to $30,000 for working capital, equipment, inventory, and leasehold improvements.

Length of loan: 5 – 15 years, depending on use of funds

Fees

Application fee: $350

Administrative fee: 2% of total Invest PGH loan

Flexible underwriting standards for small- to medium-sized commercial businesses for real estate purchase, pre-development, development or construction; furniture, fixtures, equipment, inventory, machinery; and working capital.

A forgivable loan program designed to sustain and stimulate the growth of new and existing child care businesses in the City of Pittsburgh.

Program Details

Financing amount: $5,000 – $20,000 or 90% of total project costs
Borrowers who complete sponsored business education courses through Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship are eligible for an additional $5,000
Within three years, borrowers can request to have the loan 100% forgiven
